Our work

From research report to policy change. From fragmented effort to systemic influence.

Case studies showing what happens when strategy, narrative, and capacity-building operate as one integrated system.

Case study 01 · Advocacy & strategic communications

Leveraging data to achieve strategic communications, advocacy, and fundraising goals — and bridge the vaccine gap.

A global humanitarian organization identified a critical gap in COVID-19 vaccine access for forcibly displaced populations. We designed an evidence-driven advocacy initiative — combining quantitative findings with human stories — to influence public discourse and government policy.

Approach

  • Multi-country research across 8 countries, surveying 339 households (1,900+ individuals)
  • Combined quantitative findings with human stories to transform data into compelling narratives
  • Activated media, donor engagement, and grassroots networks (450,000+ faith leaders)

Outcome

  • Influenced national policies to include displaced populations in vaccination plans
  • Strong media traction including CNN, plus briefings with WHO and Gavi
  • Mobilized donor attention and funding by linking data to urgent humanitarian needs

Case study 02 · External engagement strategy

Evidence + Engagement = Impact.

Technical reports often remain sectoral outputs that fail to influence policy due to a lack of early integration. We move beyond data collection to drive influence, impact, and income through strategic external engagement.

Approach

  • Partnership. Aligning advocacy, communications, and program teams from day one
  • Intentionality. Mapping the "Top 10" powerbrokers early and tailoring research products
  • Strategic engagement. Bypassing general noise to reach priority decision-makers

Outcome

  • Direct funding mobilized through research-backed proposals
  • Policy influence with priority decision-makers
  • Public awareness across press, social, and stakeholder channels

Case study 03 · Advocacy strategy & institutional design

From fragmentation to influence — building advocacy architecture to drive systemic change.

An international organization sought to strengthen its advocacy function across global and country offices. Strong programming existed, but advocacy was fragmented, inconsistently defined, and not systematically linked to programmatic outcomes.

Approach

  • Comprehensive advocacy framework linking strategy to programmatic goals and impact pathways
  • Practical tools — strategy templates, guidance notes, decision-making frameworks for country teams
  • Workshops and advisory support to translate global frameworks into country-level strategies

Outcome

  • Clear shared understanding of advocacy across global and country teams
  • Country offices designing more structured, strategic, context-driven initiatives
  • Foundation laid for a scalable, organization-wide advocacy function
